Complex Networks and their Applications Conference 2024: Collection

Since 2016, we have proudly sponsored the Complex Networks & their Applications conference. In recent years we have collaborated in publishing research presented at the conference in our flagship title, PLOS One, and we are now also offering a dedicated home in PLOS Complex Systems. These journals work to advance new ideas and rigorous research in complexity by removing barriers to access.

For this collection, articles will be published in the author’s chosen journal while also being presented as a whole. Submissions will follow a standard peer review process carried out by each journal’s editorial board.

You can find more information about how to submit to each journal below as well as contact information should you have further questions.

You can submit through PLOS Complex Systems’ Editorial Manager portal here or PLOS One’s portal here.

Collection FAQs and Things to Note:

  • Please include the collection title in your cover letter – ‘Complex Networks and their Applications Conference’
  • When submitting please select ‘Conference on Complex Networks and their Applications’ from the drop down menu in each Editorial Manager portal when prompted
  • Please ensure the corresponding author matches with what you provided to the conference when showing interest in submitting to the collection
